Nicole Scherzinger 'Pussycat Dolls made me into a woman'

Nicole Scherzinger has credited the Pussycat Dolls with making her into a woman. The 32-year-old singer said that her years with the group helped her mature into adulthood, and dismissed speculation that her time with their time together had been riddled with arguments and fall-outs. She told the Daily Mail, "People thought we had non-stop catfights, but those girls will be my sisters for life. "We slept, breathed, sang and shared the same tiny space together for years, and honestly there was no time or room for fights. "I went from being this shy little girl with hang-ups about wearing a bikini to this creature who performed in the teeniest clothes with total confidence. "Being a Pussycat Doll turned me from a girl into a woman." She continued, "Being a Pussycat Doll was like being an Olympic athlete who has to perform every day for years without sleep. "I spent four years with these superwomen and it was the toughest thing I've ever done. We performed and performed and performed — one night in one country, the next in a new country. In between we were travelling, rehearsing, learning new routines — there was often no time to sleep or eat or call your family. "It was utterly brutal and the best training camp for anyone who wants to work in this business."

Nicole Scherzinger 'fears losing fans over Cheryl Cole drama'

Nicole Scherzinger is reportedly worried about losing her UK fans after she replaced Cheryl Cole on the US X Factor. The 32-year-old former Pussycat Doll has taken Cole's place on the judging panel and is apparently concerned that Brits will boycott her new album, Killer Love, as retribution. "Nicole is really upset at what happened to Cheryl," a source told Celebrity Gossip. "She knows her well and thought she would have been great in the show. "She knows how people in Britain are so proud of their stars and want to see them do well in the States too, so she is aware there could be a lot of unhappiness surrounding the rejection. The last thing she wants is bad blood between herself and Cheryl and anyone thinking she might have been lobbying to get her place."
